Case Study: Doane University expands student opportunities and saves staff time with Handshake

Doane University’s Career, Leadership, and Service team wanted to modernize the technology in its office and build a case for why Handshake was the right choice for its career center. The four-person team was serving 1,500 students while spending too much time on manual work tied to spreadsheets and Google forms.

With Handshake, Doane expected to replace those manual processes with a more efficient system for job posting, appointments, events, data, and other workflows. The team said Handshake would help bring more employers to students, reduce administrative work, and free time for more strategic projects such as service learning and employer relations.
