Using an alumni heatmap and Handshake search tools, the team looked for employers in target cities and company sizes, then reached out consistently each day. With this approach, Bowling Green State University increased its rate of new employer connections by 360% in one year and had its most successful year ever in growing its employer database, while also bringing in more diverse employers and reaching its highest number of new experiential learning and full-time employment opportunities for students.
