Escape Fitness, a UK-founded leader in functional fitness equipment with growing operations and webstores in the UK, US, Germany and Poland, needed a way to run its new Ohio warehouse without changing the proven procedures used in its European locations. Because the US arm used QuickBooks Enterprise for finance, Escape required a QuickBooks-compatible warehouse-management add-on that supported handheld barcode scanning and assembly-building while maintaining consistent receiving, put-away and picking workflows.

They trialed and deployed HandiFox, installed on virtual servers in the UK and accessed from the US over a secure VPN, using handheld scanners for warehouse transactions. HandiFox integrated smoothly with QuickBooks, was implemented quickly, increased Cincinnati warehouse throughput several-fold, proved cost-effective, and benefited from responsive developer support—keeping pace with rapid US growth until a planned global system replacement.
