EDOS is a 50-person distributor of plumbing, heating and cooling supplies (since 1975) with two warehouses in Mississippi and one in New York. The company struggled with manual, paper-based inventory and order workflows: receiving could take 5–6 hours as BOLs were scanned and reconciled in QuickBooks, orders were emailed and printed for warehouse staff, and occasional misreads and manual entry errors hurt fulfillment speed and accuracy.

EDOS implemented HandiFox Desktop integrated with QuickBooks and barcode scanners, and HandiFox delivered a key patch to receive multiple POs under a single BOL. The change preserved the team’s QuickBooks workflow while eliminating manual entry, slashing receiving time, reducing errors to zero, delivering accurate inventory counts, preventing mis-picks, and enabling faster, more reliable order fulfillment — prompting EDOS to call HandiFox “more of a partner than a vendor.”
