Stephen Edwards Constructions expands HammerTech after pilot success

Stephen Edwards Constructions, a NSW-based builder with a strong WHS culture, wanted a better way to strengthen subcontractor collaboration, streamline onboarding of people and plant, and gain clearer visibility across safety and site operations. After a successful three-month pilot, the company chose HammerTech’s safety intelligence platform to address these challenges and support its growing project base.

HammerTech was expanded from the initial pilot to 13 active projects, with 115 Stephen Edwards employees now using the platform and a total of 6,578 users overall. The rollout gave Stephen Edwards more comprehensive safety data, better reporting on observations, and a single source of truth for on-site issues, while also reducing duplicate inductions and improving implementation support and subcontractor adoption.
