A HammerTech Case Study
DPR Construction, a self-performing general contractor focused on technically complex and sustainable projects, faced a new challenge: as major injuries declined, the firm needed higher-quality, more granular safety data to reach its goal of zero workplace injuries. DPR had begun rolling out HammerTech across its job sites to capture and synthesize safety audits, checklists and equipment records into actionable insights so teams could identify and eliminate emerging risks.
HammerTech was implemented to centralize site-specific safety plans, video orientations, quizzes, permit workflows, QR-coded equipment inspections and integrated trade partner submittals, with a dashboard that delivers real-time insights across dozens of divisions and hundreds of projects. The platform has sped processes and reduced risk—75% of worker orientations are now “express,” saving about 45 minutes per worker each time—and enabled faster approvals, easier safety audits, verified certifications before equipment operation, and pandemic-era communication and photo-based attendance tracking.
