A HALO Recognition Case Study
Ferguson Enterprises, the largest supplier of residential and commercial plumbing supplies in the U.S., had long used HALO Recognition to support multiple separate incentive and recognition programs. As the company looked to boost engagement, improve retention, and better reach a distributed workforce of more than 23,000 associates across 1,400 locations, it needed a more flexible, unified recognition experience. HALO Recognition helped relaunch the program as Ferguson PERKS, built on its Total Vision Recognition platform.
HALO Recognition expanded Ferguson PERKS with on-the-spot Recognition Cards, executive recognition tools, new award categories for training and wellness, a redesigned rewards website, and automated communications for managers and associates. The results were strong: associate login activity rose 8.1%, Above and Beyond nominations increased about 22%, Recognition Card issuance climbed 27%, award approval time dropped 34%, and on-the-spot recognition requests increased 52%. Since FY2013, retention also improved by 5.4%, showing the impact of HALO Recognition’s long-term partnership and program redesign.
