MySports completes two live hockey broadcasts with Haivision Pro and StreamHub

MySports, a Swiss sports channel, faced the challenge of producing immersive live broadcasts of National League Hockey games from arenas across Switzerland. They needed to move their production rink-side to capture the action and atmosphere but required a reliable remote production solution to connect these venues to their central master control room. They worked with vendor Haivision and partner Lang Baranday to find a mobile video transmission solution.

The solution implemented used Haivision Pro460 mobile video transmitters and a StreamHub receiver. This setup utilized bonded cellular networks and Haivision's SST protocol to provide high-quality, low-latency transmission of multiple camera feeds from the arena. The result was a successful new remote production workflow that enhanced broadcast quality and flexibility, allowing MySports to complete several live broadcasts and bring viewers closer to the game.
