Jyske Bank TV Broadcasts Live Using Haivision’s Makito X with SRT

Jyske Bank, one of Denmark’s largest banks, launched Jyske Bank TV to deliver live financial news from NASDAQ MarketSite in New York to viewers and branch displays in Europe. The bank needed a cost‑effective, 24/7 transcontinental contribution feed to its production center near Copenhagen without relying on expensive satellites, but prior Internet solutions were too unstable for high‑quality video — so Jyske Bank turned to Haivision’s Makito X encoders with SRT.

Haivision implemented Makito X encoder/decoder pairs using Secure Reliable Transport (SRT) and integrated the feed with Haivision’s CoolSign digital‑signage system, delivering a low‑latency HD stream from New York to Denmark and broadcasting to more than 700 screens across 120 branch locations. The Haivision solution dynamically adapts to network conditions, preserving pristine video quality at low bitrates, enabling continuous 24/7 coverage and a low‑cost end‑to‑end transport for Jyske Bank.
