Global Leadership Network Inspiring Leaders to Make a Difference

The Global Leadership Network, organizer of the Global Leadership Summit, faced rising complexity as the event scaled to more than 500 remote sites across North America: high satellite costs and a critical outage caused by thunderstorms made a reliable backup necessary. To address this, The Global Leadership Network partnered with Haivision and adopted Haivision products and services, including KB Encoders and Haivision Video Cloud, to explore an internet-based delivery and redundancy strategy.

Haivision implemented four on-site KB encoders to provide live and delayed feeds for different time zones, plus Haivision Video Cloud for on-demand capture and distribution (with dedicated testing and live support for host sites). The solution delivered dependable satellite backup that in many cases became the primary feed, lowered distribution costs, and expanded reach—supporting 500+ live North American sites, an additional 900+ sites in 135 countries in the months after the event, and helping the Summit reach more than 400,000 leaders in 2018.
