Fox Sports gets NASCAR coverage back on track in under 3 weeks with Haivision

Fox Sports faced the challenge of producing live NASCAR race coverage while drastically reducing the number of on-site crew to ensure health and safety after a ten-week hiatus. To deliver high-quality broadcasts with minimal latency and bandwidth, they turned to Haivision and implemented a solution using the Makito X Video Encoder and SRT Gateway.

Haivision's solution created a new remote workflow, sending 16 live video feeds from the track to Fox Sports' network centers. This allowed production, engineering, and executive teams to work remotely with extremely low latency, enabling real-time collaboration and monitoring. The successful implementation, completed in under three weeks, kept the season on track and provided a flexible, high-quality remote production model for the future.
