TV Skyline is a German broadcast service provider focused on high-end live production. As live sports and news workflows grew more complex, the company began exploring private 5G as a foundation for wireless video contribution and needed a way to use 5G transmitters for live production while matching the ultra-low latency of traditional RF systems.

Working with Haivision, TV Skyline built a live contribution workflow using Haivision 5G mobile video transmitters and receivers, Haivision StreamHub, and private 5G network infrastructure. Haivision helped TV Skyline achieve a more flexible and efficient outside broadcast workflow, with simpler deployment and reduced setup and teardown times compared with an RF system, while delivering broadcast-quality 4K UHD and HD streaming with ultra-low latency and reliable wireless transmission.
