The customer, Xinning Logistics, faced significant challenges in its SMT electronics warehouse serving a Lenovo factory, including managing a large number of SKUs, meeting high timeliness for shipments, and dealing with a paper-based picking system that resulted in errors. To address this, they worked with vendor Hai Robotics to automate their manual feeding process.

Hai Robotics implemented a solution using five HaiPick A42 robots, charging stations, and workstations, transforming the warehouse operations. The results were substantial, including an increase in storage density by 160%, a fourfold (400%) improvement in picking efficiency, and achieving a picking accuracy rate of 99.9% with a total of 6,006 storage locations.
