Umall, a leading online grocery and e-commerce platform in Australia, faced significant challenges with labor-intensive processes, limited picking efficiency, and constrained storage capacity in its Sydney dry goods warehouse. To support its fast-growing order volumes and improve operational flexibility, Umall partnered with Hai Robotics to deploy the HaiPick System, a goods-to-person automation solution.

Hai Robotics implemented a system using HaiPick A42 and A42T autonomous case-handling robots, which created 11,000 storage locations within a 1,000㎡ area. This solution drastically improved outbound efficiency to 8,000 pieces per day and achieved a 99.99% picking accuracy. The results for Umall included higher storage density, reduced labor dependency, and a more scalable operation, laying a strong foundation for future growth.
