a top internet company faced challenges in automating its supplementary material warehouse for small parts. Their manual operations were inefficient, with difficulties in managing uncoded items like zippers and buttons, low storage density, and a lack of a warehouse management system. They partnered with Hai Robotics for an automation solution.

Hai Robotics implemented a system using 11 HAIPICK A42 robots, five workstations, and smart shelving. The solution provided 5,668 storage locations in a 570m² area, doubling the storage height to 4,000mm. This resulted in a 99.9% picking accuracy rate and a significant increase in picking efficiency, with the HAIPICK system integrating directly with the customer’s WMS for full information management.
