The customer, Philips Zhuhai, a manufacturer of small household appliances, faced challenges due to rapid business growth and a need to move away from inefficient manual warehouse operations. To reduce costs and increase efficiency, they partnered with Hai Robotics to implement an automation solution, which included the HAIPICK A42 robot and the HAIQ software platform.

Hai Robotics implemented a comprehensive automated storage and retrieval system (ASRS) to digitize and automate warehouse processes. The solution included autonomous robots for picking and handling, conveyor workstations, and a put-to-light system, which unified case turnover and standardized QR code use. This resulted in a picking accuracy of 99.99%, a storage density of 8 cases per square meter, and an outbound/inbound efficiency of 130 cases per hour, significantly saving workforce and cost while enabling intelligent manufacturing.
