KEC Device, a key player in South Korea's semiconductor and electronics sector, faced significant challenges in their manual warehouse operations at the Gumi Smart Logistics Center. Their paper-based processes, limited storage, low throughput, and high rate of human errors were unsustainable for serving multiple small and medium-sized enterprises. To address these issues, KEC Device partnered with Hai Robotics and system integrator ZIN Corporation to implement an automated solution.

Hai Robotics deployed its HaiPick System 1, an Autonomous Case-handling Robot (ACR) solution. The implementation resulted in a doubling of both storage density and throughput, raising capacity to 1,500 totes per hour. The system eliminated inventory errors, streamlined daily inventory tasks from two hours to just ten minutes, and saved over 1.5 million KRW in monthly labor costs per tenant. One user reported a 12% reduction in logistics costs within six months, demonstrating the significant impact of Hai Robotics' technology.
