John Lewis - Customer Case Study

John Lewis, a leading UK department store retailer, faced the challenge of enhancing its warehouse capabilities to support rapidly growing online sales. The company sought to improve fulfillment speed and implement a scalable, high-volume automation solution at its new Fenny Lock facility. To address this, they worked with integration partner Logistex and vendor Hai Robotics to implement an automated warehousing system.

Hai Robotics implemented its HaiPick automated storage and retrieval system, which included 60 HaiPick A42T robots and HaiPort buffer stations. This solution achieved a 300% increase in storage density by utilizing 10-meter-high shelving and enabled a throughput of 1,500 totes per hour. The system also achieved a 99.99% order accuracy rate, significantly improving labor efficiency and strengthening John Lewis's same-day and next-day delivery services.
