A major UK-based third-party logistics (3PL) provider, operating on behalf of a global premium consumer electronics brand, faced challenges in scaling its new warehouse operation. The facility needed to achieve high storage density for over 4,000 SKUs and high daily throughput within a limited footprint, moving away from inefficient manual processes. To address this, they partnered with systems integrator Inteq and vendor Hai Robotics for an automation solution.

Hai Robotics deployed a system using 43 HaiPick A42T autonomous case-handling robots (ACRs) to create a high-density goods-to-person workflow. The solution provided an estimated 40,000 storage locations and enabled a high outbound capacity of 1,170 totes per hour. This scalable, future-ready system from Hai Robotics successfully balanced density, speed, and scalability for the fulfillment center.
