The customer, a large online retailer in China, faced challenges in its pharmaceutical and health products warehouse. Their operations were hampered by multiple business order types, frequent promotions, low storage density in manual areas, and difficult picking processes that created long paths for personnel. To address this, they partnered with Hai Robotics for a flexible automation solution.

Hai Robotics implemented a system using 18 of their A42 robots and multiple HAIPORT workstations. The solution created 11,000 storage locations within a 1,700㎡ area and increased storage capacity by 1.8 times by utilizing taller shelving. This significantly improved B2B order picking and batch picking efficiency, achieving a 99.9% picking accuracy rate for the retailer.
