Chicheng Group, a major supermarket enterprise in East China operating over 4000 "Neighborhood" and "Life Post" convenience stores, faced significant warehouse challenges. Their manual picking processes led to low efficiency, high labor density, and a lack of storage capacity to support their rapid business growth. To address these pain points, Chicheng Group partnered with Hai Robotics to implement a Goods-to-Person automation system.

Hai Robotics deployed a solution using 30 HaiPick A42 and 3 HaiPick A42T robots working with 5 double-U-shape workstations managed by their HAI Q software platform. This system dramatically increased storage density by 350% to 26,652 locations and boosted picking efficiency by 50%, achieving 200 order lines per person per hour. The solution from Hai Robotics also reduced labor needs by 14 full-time employees while ensuring a steady supply of over 200 totes per hour to each workstation.
