Best Supply Chain, a provider of intelligent supply chain and logistics solutions, faced challenges with low picking efficiency, poor storage density, and a need to manage both cartons and totes simultaneously at a footwear distribution center in Shanghai. To help their end customer, they partnered with Hai Robotics to implement warehouse automation using the HaiPick A42 and A42T robots and HAIPORT workstations to meet these challenges.

Hai Robotics deployed a system of 32 A42 and 8 A42T robots to automate the picking and storage processes. This solution created 87,375 storage locations within a 6,030m² area and optimized storage capacity with shelving that reached 6,300mm high. The automation significantly improved operational performance, achieving a measurable inbound efficiency of 300 cases per hour and a high outbound efficiency of 1,000 cases per hour.
