The Army Collective Training Service - Customer Case Study

The Army Collective Training Service, a UK Ministry of Defence initiative, faced the challenge of modernizing and transforming its training protocols to prepare soldiers for complex multi-domain operations. Their existing systems were disparate and limited in their ability to run large, immersive training scenarios for distributed users. Hadean was selected to demonstrate the power of its spatial computing platform to overcome these hurdles.

Hadean implemented a cloud-distributed simulation solution that orchestrated in-service training systems, blending 2D, 3D, and Live, Virtual and Constructive (LVC) elements into a single common operating picture. This provided a unified, real-time view for all trainees and commanders, regardless of location, and allowed for seamless scenario configuration from a central command. The results included the federation of previously incompatible systems, a significant reduction in the need for on-site hardware, and the ability to perform real-time analysis for improved training outcomes.
