The Defence and Security Accelerator, working on behalf of the Defence Science and Technology Laboratory (Dstl), required a way to populate large-scale military training simulations with realistic and dynamic civilian populations to enhance the complexity and authenticity of multi-domain exercises. To meet this challenge, they partnered with Hadean to develop an AI-powered synthetic training environment.
Hadean implemented a scalable Pattern of Life simulation powered by its spatial computing technology. The solution generated dynamic populations of A3E entities that adapted in real-time to training events, including a simulated social media feed reflecting civilian sentiment. This provided a more authentic training experience, significantly enhanced situational awareness, and enabled immediate, AI-driven after-action reviews. Hadean's technology delivered a new, scalable training capability that allows for tailored and highly realistic scenarios.
