The British Army's Operational Research Branch faced challenges in making timely, data-driven decisions due to the limitations of its existing analytical tools, which often forced leaders to rely on subjective judgment under pressure. To address this, they partnered with vendor Hadean and data analytics experts Cervus to leverage the FORGE simulation toolkit.

Hadean implemented its distributed computing platform and AI capabilities to power FORGE, enabling the simulation of dozens of scenarios with different parameters. This solution provided real-time situational awareness and rapid risk assessment. The most significant result was the drastic reduction of a typical 9-12 month analytics process to less than a single day, allowing commanders to respond swiftly to evolving situations.
