Adobe And Hackerone Celebrate Five Years Of Continued Collaboration

Adobe, a leader in multimedia and creativity software serving millions worldwide, needed a more scalable, efficient way to find and manage security vulnerabilities across its products and newly acquired Magento platform. Faced with a legacy submission workflow and the challenge of coordinating external testing at scale, Adobe sought a partner to centralize intake, improve researcher engagement, and expand coverage without overwhelming its security team.

Adobe partnered with HackerOne in 2015 to launch a Vulnerability Disclosure Program and later migrated Magento’s bounty program, using HackerOne’s platform, triage services, API integrations, crowdsourced pentests and targeted bounties. The result: streamlined workflows, a scaled PSIRT, broader testing and faster vulnerability discovery, stronger product hardening, and improved customer trust through more transparent, responsive security processes.
