Case Study: HP Enterprise achieves enhanced employer branding and massive hackathon participation with HackerEarth

A HackerEarth Case Study

Preview of the HP Enterprise Case Study

When innovation acted as a brand driver

HP Enterprise (Hewlett Packard Enterprise India R&D) wanted to strengthen its employer brand, cultivate a coding culture among students, and attract talent from the IT community. To achieve this, HP Enterprise partnered with HackerEarth to run employer‑branding hackathons and technical challenges — notably the HPE Thinkathon for college students and the HPE MasterMaze for IT professionals — using HackerEarth’s hackathon platform and event services.

HackerEarth built the launch pages, managed registrations and participant support, and delivered event analytics and reporting. The collaboration drove strong engagement: Thinkathon 1 — 6,830 registrations / 3,711 participants; Thinkathon 2 — 6,830 registrations / 3,614 participants; MasterMaze — 3,022 registrations / 2,533 participants. As a result, HP Enterprise boosted its brand visibility, accelerated hiring outreach, and selected HackerEarth as a preferred vendor for future events.
