Trimble, a California-based developer of GNSS receivers, laser rangefinders, UAVs and related software, faced a time-consuming campus hiring process where recruiters manually screened roughly 30 candidates to fill one position. To streamline first-level screening, Trimble partnered with HackerEarth and adopted HackerEarth Recruit, the vendor’s technical recruitment and automated assessment platform.

HackerEarth implemented automated online assessments through Recruit, eliminating manual and paper-based pre-screening and enabling recruiters to focus on in-person evaluation of the top candidates. The change reduced the number of candidates recruiters had to assess per hire from about 30 to 10 (an approximately 66% reduction), improved candidate quality, and sped up outreach — outcomes Trimble credits to HackerEarth’s user-friendly platform.
