PSV increases online ticket sale conversion

PSV Eindhoven, one of the Netherlands’ oldest and most commercially active soccer clubs, wanted to increase visitor engagement across all channels and drive less-involved fans to become more active and spend more. Working with GX Software and using the customer data platform BlueConic, PSV built a behavior-based Fan Score to recognize visitors’ involvement from the first click and tailor online communications and offers to different fan segments.

GX Software helped implement the Fan Score, dynamic fan segmentation and a cross-channel Euro League ticket campaign—live on psv.nl in just a few days. The BlueConic-driven solution enabled targeted offers and abandoned-booking retargeting, produced conversion rates up to 6%, delivered a unified audience view, and helped PSV boost ticket sales and move moderately involved fans toward loyalty.
