Zitaat, a Kuwait-based food delivery service serving McDonald’s, Dip’n’Dip, Arby’s and other chains, needed a monitoring system to track 500+ delivery vehicles (cars and motorcycles) and access order history. They engaged Gurtam and its products—Wialon Hosting and the WiaTag mobile client—to provide the required fleet monitoring capabilities.

Gurtam’s solution deployed WiaTag on couriers’ smartphones and connected them to Wialon Hosting, delivering real-time location, speed, phone battery data, geofence-based loading/delivery zone control, and per-restaurant dispatcher accounts. The implementation connected 500 vehicles within a week, enabled 24/7 monitoring and route visibility for dispatchers, and gave Zitaat access to a year-long orders history and report-building capabilities.
