LLC Gornozavodsky, a public utilities company managing waste collection in Perm Krai, Russia, struggled with lack of automation and visibility across 1,224 container sites (collecting from 831 daily — ~27,000 trips/month), no control over executed work, duplicate manual directory maintenance, slow monthly reporting, and no planning statistics. To solve this, they engaged Gurtam and its Wialon Hosting telematics platform.

Gurtam (via its Wialon solution and partner NSC using the Wialon SDK/API) implemented synchronized geofence-based container directories, integration with the regional PAC ACS Big Three system, transport assignment, route logs, collection schedules, automated job completion acts, billing controls and access management. The system delivered end-to-end monitoring and management: full record-keeping for all sites, reduction of garbage trucks in one area from 12 to 9, and monthly savings of over $2,600 in fuel plus $1,300 in salaries.
