The Happiness Index’s HR Punks community, led by community manager Rosey Jarvis, needed a better way to grow and nurture a private group of HR leaders than WhatsApp could provide. Guild was used to support the move to a more structured messaging platform for building a more engaged, purpose-driven community.
With Guild, Rosey could personalize invites, clearly communicate the community’s purpose to new members, and follow up with direct messages after they joined. The result was a community that grew to 77 members in under six months, while also becoming closer-knit through both online interaction and offline meetups.
