Great British Entrepreneurs host 'Great British Entrepreneurs Forum' community on Guild

The Great British Entrepreneur Awards (GBEA) launched in 2012 to celebrate British entrepreneurs, but the Covid-19 pandemic forced the organization to cancel its in-person awards and quickly find a new way to keep its community connected and supported. GBEA turned to Guild, a community platform, to help maintain engagement during a period of uncertainty.

Guild provided The Great British Entrepreneur Awards with a private online community, the Great British Entrepreneurs Forum, where around 150 entrepreneurs could discuss funding, product-market fit, equity fundraising, and other topics. The result was a highly engaged, self-sustaining community that deepened relationships, encouraged member-led conversations, and even inspired some members to launch their own groups on Guild.
