A Guild Case Study
The Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD), one of the UK’s largest membership organisations for HR and people development, saw a sharp rise in member questions during the COVID-19 lockdown. To better support senior HR leaders facing issues such as redundancies, furlough, remote working, and employee wellbeing, CIPD needed a fast, private, and easy-to-use way to manage peer support and member queries using Guild.
Guild helped CIPD launch a closed HR Leader COVID-19 support group within days, creating a secure mobile space for senior HR directors to connect, share concerns, and support one another. The group grew to 66 members and continues to expand, giving CIPD a practical way to provide timely peer-to-peer support while also responding to member needs and sharing resources.
