British Equestrian Trade Association gallops ahead with Guild groups for its members

The British Equestrian Trade Association (BETA) is a membership organisation for British equestrian businesses, and when Covid-19 forced the cancellation of physical events, it needed a digital space to keep members connected. BETA chose Guild to create private member groups and provide a mobile-first community and messaging platform for discussions, informal chat, and updates that would normally happen at AGMs, trade fairs, conferences, and meetups.

Using Guild, BETA built a safe, branded, private space where members and the association could communicate easily, with desktop and mobile access helping overcome concerns about “another app.” The result was a continued sense of community and closer member engagement during a difficult period, with Guild helping BETA adapt its events and communications to virtual and hybrid formats.
