Thermopak Limited, a provider of eco-friendly solutions in East Africa, faced a challenge in monitoring its production floor and energy consumption efficiently, relying on manual tracking systems like spreadsheets and pen-and-paper methods. To advance its digitization and sustainability goals, the company adopted Guidewheel's real-time visibility platform, which initially utilized current transformers (CTs) to clip onto machines.

Guidewheel's solution provided Thermopak with real-time data on machine runtime, energy usage, and downtime alerts, enabling fact-based operational decisions. The implementation was later expanded to include new temperature sensors for monitoring industrial chillers, allowing for alerts when temperature thresholds were exceeded. This resulted in optimized production processes, improved machine performance, and a stronger commitment to preventing production delays and maintaining high product quality, solidifying Guidewheel's role as a catalyst for positive change.
