PulteGroup, a leading residential homebuilder headquartered in Atlanta with about 5,000 employees across multiple brands, needed to modernize a decade-old performance management process and improve communications for a geographically dispersed workforce after piloting SuccessFactors with 500 employees. The HR team’s challenge was to win end-user buy-in and simplify the manager and employee experience while clearly communicating the reasons for change.
PulteGroup rolled out a multimedia communications program with GuideSpark—custom explainer videos, intranet banners, email links, internal social campaigns and mobile messaging—while collecting ongoing employee feedback during a staged rollout. The content drove strong engagement (90% of each video watched), helped 85% of employees complete performance appraisals, reduced HR navigation questions, and achieved full participation in the new process while providing measurable results.
