Host & Stay, founded by Dale Smith with his sister Emily, grew out of a successful holiday home in Saltburn into a property management business. While managing 10 listings they spent 3–4 hours per day on manual reservation entry and logging into multiple OTAs because their PMS lacked channel integrations, a unified messaging system, robust reporting, task management and a strong API — limitations that blocked their ability to scale.
