Vietnamese Electronic Payment Company Improves Mobile App Security with Guardsquare

Vietnamese Electronic Payment Company, a top mobile and electronic payments provider in Vietnam, needed to strengthen security across its Android and iOS apps. With sensitive financial data flowing through its mobile services, the company wanted to prevent reverse-engineering and app tampering while staying compliant and preserving a fast, easy user experience. It turned to Guardsquare, building on its existing use of ProGuard, and evaluated DexGuard and iXGuard for advanced mobile app protection.

Guardsquare implemented DexGuard and iXGuard to add multi-layered protection, including RASP and obfuscation, across the company’s mobile apps. After integration and follow-up testing, the apps could not be reverse-engineered, and the company reported that customer information was better protected on both Android and iOS. Guardsquare also provided responsive expert support to help with configuration, bug fixes, and ongoing optimization.
