Time to Change Choa Migrates to A Treasury Workstation

Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta (CHOA) faced growing treasury risk and limited visibility while managing $3.363 billion in investments and $307 million in revenue using manual spreadsheets. To gain better cash visibility, forecasting and control, CHOA decided to replace its spreadsheet-driven process with a treasury workstation from GTreasury.

CHOA selected and implemented the GTreasury workstation through a four-phase rollout (bank accounts, general ledger, funds transfers and debt portfolio), reconfiguring banks when needed and customizing the system for two bond series, swaps and a construction loan. The GTreasury solution delivered automated wire/ACH payments (now working with Wells Fargo), a centralized repository with alerts and confirmations, dependable automated management reporting, and two-month cash forecasting—significantly reducing manual Excel work and improving audit quality.
