Love's Travel Stops & Country Stores, a national chain that grew to 230 travel stops in 34 states and saw revenues rise from $3 billion to $17 billion in ten years, faced the challenge of managing a dramatically larger transaction volume with almost no increase in treasury headcount (from three to four people). To meet that challenge the company implemented GTreasury’s treasury management and cash management system, later moving to GTreasury’s ASP-based platform to replace manual processes and centralize cash operations.
GTreasury automated daily bank balance imports, reconciliations, cash concentration sweeps (200–300 transfers a day), recurring wires/ACH, and rule-based GL coding, enabling Love's to export 40,000–45,000 transactions monthly and know its daily cash position by 10:00–10:30 a.m. The GTreasury solution reduced errors, streamlined month-end reconciliation, improved transparency across departments, lowered internal inquiries to treasury, and allowed Love's to handle massive growth with only one additional treasury staff member.
