Allan Myers Builds a Better Treasury System

Allan Myers, a Pennsylvania construction company, was running treasury on in‑house Excel spreadsheets and an Access 97 database that strained a three‑person team and took hours to produce a reliable daily cash position. Managing 12 accounts (balances up to US$20m) across five banks with monthly volumes of roughly 3,500 cheques, 700 ACHs, 30 wires, 200 credit card deposits and ~200 lockbox/cheque deposits, the treasury needed an automated, user‑friendly system and selected GTreasury.

GTreasury implemented its treasury management solution to centralize data warehousing, automatically download bank and ERP files each morning, consolidate bank portals, provide two‑sheet daily cash positioning, enable drill‑down reporting and impose role‑based access controls. The GTreasury deployment eliminated reliance on bank tokens, sped up and remote‑enabled daily cash reporting, reduced manual errors and time‑consuming tasks (two years of historical data were imported), improved cash visibility and forecasting, and streamlined payments and positive‑pay processes for the Allan Myers treasury team.
