Case Study: Stella McCartney achieves group-wide cash flow visibility and streamlined 13-week forecasting with GTreasury

A GTreasury Case Study

Preview of the Stella McCartney Case Study

Cash Flow Visibility in a High Growth Fashion Label

Stella McCartney, after buying out Kering in 2018, needed to rebuild corporate functions and create a standalone treasury and cash reporting process. The Treasury Team, led by Group Treasurer Raffaele Siena and Treasury Analyst Ellis Roach, sought to replace manual Excel forecasting, capture forecasts from approximately 20 reporting entities, track intercompany flows and automate bank transaction classification within tight timeframes, and selected GTreasury Cash Forecasting (formerly CashAnalytics).

GTreasury delivered a rolling 13‑week cash flow forecast, automated bank transaction and account classification, and intercompany visibility, plus tools that speed mid‑month and end‑of‑month reporting. As a result, Stella McCartney gained clear group‑wide cash visibility across ~20 entities, faster bi‑monthly reporting cycles, simpler transaction drill‑downs for reconciliation, and high user adoption—outcomes the team directly credits to GTreasury.
