Gov Games deploys 65 iPads and real-time scoring with GTECH Information Technology

Gov Games, a unique government sports initiative in the UAE, needed a comprehensive digital platform to manage team registrations and run the physical and mental challenges of its annual tournament. GTECH Information Technology was appointed as the official digital agency to build this integrated online game registration and management system.

GTECH Information Technology designed and developed a full suite of solutions, including a registration portal, a check-in system, a T-shirt allocation system, and a live scoreboard app. The vendor also deployed 65 iPads for referees to track team progress and penalties in real-time and integrated physical buttons with Raspberry Pi units to capture obstacle completion times. This end-to-end digital ecosystem streamlined the entire event process for Gov Games, from initial sign-up to live scoring.
