The Ministry of Education of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia needed to unify more than 40 regional center websites, which were each operating independently and lacked a consistent brand and user experience. GSS Infotech was brought in to redesign the portal and migrate it to Microsoft SharePoint, creating a more interactive, centralized e-portal platform.

GSS Infotech re-architected the solution using Microsoft Office SharePoint Server 2007 and related Microsoft technologies, delivering reusable templates, bilingual support, accessibility features, content management, and a high-availability deployment on a 6-server farm. The result was an extendable, scalable e-portal with failover clustering, W3C-aligned standards, and improved usability across the Ministry’s web properties, including migration of 4,000 web pages.
