Case Study: Allied Cash Advance achieves lower TCO and simplified disaster recovery with GSS Infotech's NetApp solution

A GSS Infotech Case Study

Preview of the Allied Cash Advance Case Study

Installation of expandable NetApp SAN and disaster recovery capability that increases ROI and lowers TCO

Allied Cash Advance, a growing payday advances provider with more than 180 branches across 10 states, needed to address a shortage of storage capacity and had no disaster recovery facility in place. GSS Infotech was brought in to help modernize and expand the company’s infrastructure using NetApp storage and VMware technologies.

GSS Infotech implemented an expandable NetApp SAN with disaster recovery capabilities, including two sites in Florida—one at Allied Cash Advance’s Miami headquarters and one in Orlando—linked with SnapMirror and SnapVault replication. The upgrade increased storage capacity from 8 TB to 32 TB, added more VMware and replication capabilities, and simplified maintenance while improving ROI, lowering TCO, and making disaster recovery easier.
