Embassy Suites, a chain of upscale all-suite hotels, faced a severe labor shortage that made staffing its signature omelet station difficult. This led to long lines for guests and significant stress for employees who had to manually take and prepare orders. To address this challenge, Embassy Suites partnered with vendor GRUBBRR to implement its Samsung kiosk ordering solution.

The solution involved deploying GRUBBRR's self-ordering kiosks at the omelet station, which allowed guests to place their own orders. This eliminated order-taking bottlenecks and improved order accuracy. As a result, GRUBBRR helped Embassy Suites more than double its order throughput, from around 40 orders per day to over 100 on busy days, while also improving operational efficiency and the guest experience.
