EMRC gathers 300+ public responses with GroupMap

The Eastern Metropolitan Regional Council (EMRC) collaborated with four local governments to seek public feedback and brainstorm solutions for key regional challenges. Their challenge was to effectively engage stakeholders and capture a wide range of ideas from over 300 responses across 15 themes in a collaborative workshop setting. To achieve this, they utilized GroupMap's online collaborative brainstorming tool.

Using GroupMap, the EMRC facilitated a live workshop where delegates could network, discuss, and debate ideas. The web-based application allowed participants to contribute and vote on ideas in real-time from tablets, ensuring all voices were heard equally. The results were then provided to Economic Development officers to drive decision-making and planning. GroupMap enabled the council to heighten engagement and encourage greater involvement from the business community.
