Curtin University used GroupMap to run a Marketing Hackathon, a collaborative event for students and professionals to brainstorm new ideas for attracting and retaining students. The challenge was to coordinate the diverse and often conflicting views of the multidisciplinary teams and guide them to reach a consensus quickly and effectively within the short, two-day timeframe.

GroupMap provided the solution by serving as a collaborative idea management and real-time judging platform. Participants used its Lean Model Canvas tool to systematically plan and consolidate their strategies, while judges used the software to score team pitches and provide feedback instantly. This enabled the hackathon to generate a diverse range of high-quality, nearly launch-ready marketing initiatives, accelerating the design and development process dramatically.
