Solidus Labs, a crypto-native security and compliance FinTech company, faced significant challenges with its fragmented and high-maintenance observability stack. Their hybrid setup, which included Logz.io for logs, self-hosted Prometheus for metrics, and a Jaeger OpenTelemetry stack for tracing, was complex to manage and lacked a single pane of glass for correlating data. This unreliability made it difficult to proactively detect infrastructure issues and perform rapid root cause analysis, which was critical for their high-availability trading platform. They turned to groundcover for a consolidated solution.

By implementing groundcover's eBPF-powered observability platform, Solidus Labs unified its monitoring. The solution provided deep, no-touch Kubernetes insights, captured full trace payloads without instrumentation, and ran on a managed Bring Your Own Cloud (BYOC) backend using ClickHouse. This allowed groundcover to fully replace the legacy Jaeger and Cassandra stack. The results included improved platform reliability, faster investigations across all team members, and a significant reduction in maintenance overhead, which lowered their total cost of ownership.
